Biography

Charles, the son of Roderick William Richards and Julia Mary, was born on 22 October 1867 and baptised on 20 November 1867 in Bombay Presidency, India.[1]

In the 1871 Census of England, Wales & Scotland, Charles, age 3, was recorded as the lodger of Richard Stephens in St John Hill, St Chad, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.[2]

Research Notes

Unlike his brothers, there is no mention of Charles in his mother's 1908 obituary. He wasn't living with his mother or brothers during the 1900 United States census. The last mention that I've found of him, so far, was in a February 1886 newspaper clipping.[5]
