  2. A note beneath Elisabeth's name states the the following first cousins are by an unnamed uncle, but not the children of Johann Jakob Reichel or Elisabeth Reichel. They are likely the children of Nikolaus Reichel, Child #3 in the 1834 census, and his wife Elisabeth. The five children of Nicholas' in the 1834 census are also named in the 1857 census, plus three more children born after the 1834 census. The youngest child was 12, giving him a birth year of 1845. This suggests that Nikolaus died at some point between 1845 and 1850. If Nikolaus was still living in 1850, he would have been identified with his age in 1850 in the 1857 census plus his death year. Because he is not named, he likely died before 1850, his death was detailed in the 1850 male-only census, and he would not be identified again in any subsequent census records.
