Biography
Martha was born 4 Jan 1653 St Peter in Thanet, Kent, England and baptised 8 Jan 1653 at St Peter in Thanet, Kent the daughter of Edward Reade & Mary.[1]
Martha married Andrew Wootton on 4 January 1676 in Canterbury St Mary Bredin, Canterbury, Kent, England by licence.[2]
Marriage licence: Andrew Wotten of Minster in Thanet malster, ba age 27 and Martha Read s p spr age 22 whose parents are dead. At SM Bredin Cant, Thomas Fuller also of Minster yeoman bonds 4 Jan 1676.[3]
She died in 1741 Minster, Kent and was buried 23 Mar 1741 at St Mary's Church, Minster. She was described as a widow and aged 89 in the parish register.[4]
