Biography
Herman Joseph Rau was born in 1874 in Germany. He was the son of Peter Rau and Eva Metzen.[1] [2] [3]
Around 1900 he married Maria Neises.
They had at least one child.

He then married Anna Maria Schmitt around 1903.
They had about 7 children.
