He arrived in Australia 6 Aug 1882 on the 'Western Monarch'

The deceased was born at Wickham Market, Suffolk (England), in 1861. Nineteen years later he came to Queensland, and arrived in Gympie in 1880. For many years he worked as a miner at different mines on the field. At the age of 26 years he married Miss Rose Kebble.
