The biography for Jeannette Rancier-Fermin is empty. What can you add? Jeannette was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Marco Antonio Rancier Núñez and Juana Dolores Fermin Peña (her last name should have been Fermin Cepeda) My father Marco joined the military in 1958 and acquired housing on, San Isidro aviation base. I did my kindergarten 1st and 2nd grade in the parochial school on base. in 1965 the decision was made by my parents to sent me to St. Damien, Québec,Canada to attend school. I joined my two sisters already there at the boarding school. When asked why I was sent there my mother stated that they didn't want to be the only not able to speak french, but really there was also the issue of the civil war going on.
I did the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade in french on 1965-1966 school year. Then did the third grade in the 1966-1967 school year. Not to be able to attend at the boarding school any longer the family was forced to move to the city of Ste. Foy where my mother had to come under a student visa and be our guardian,, so Rosa could finish senior year instead of going back to the DR.
I attended St Thomas d'Aquin primary school a few blocks from home on Rue Myrand for 4th grade in the school year 1967-1968. That year contracting erythema nodosum [1] I had to miss two months of school. We moved to another apartment a few blocks on the same street in the 1968-1969 school year attending another school on Rue Bovin for the 5th grade. We moved once more to Rue de la Concorde in another part of the city and for the 1968-1969 school year did the 6th grade attending school Ste. Ursule. I attended 1969-1970 school year Pavillon Montcalm for 7th grade( conincidently all three of us went to this school for different grades). The family moved to New Jersey I attended St Joseph's for school year 1970-1971 and did the 8th grade(not understanding a word of English). We moved to Virginia were my father at the State mental hospital as a pschiatrist. I attended Gibbons High School school from 1972 to1976. We moved to North Dakota where I attended UND-Williston community college for a year.
In the summer of 1977 I backpacked through Europe for three months with Jeannine Relly, a school mate. That winter the whole Rancier-Fermin family spent Christmas/New Year in Santo Domingo, DR.

I have noticed that you have created some of your family members with their last names at birth all capitalized. Wikitree standards regarding naming styles is that it is never appropriate to use all CAPS. See here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Name_Fields#Capitalization
When you have time, please correct those last names at birth that are all capitalized. Thank you!
