Biography
Maria Fabiana Sebastiana Quintero and her twin sister Maria Catarina were born on March 6, 1766, in Sonora. Their father, Luis Manuel, was 40 and their mother, Maria Petranila Timotea Rubio, was 23. She married Ysidro German Eugenio Valdez on October 21, 1781, in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico. They had 11 children in 19 years. She died in April 1822, in Los Angeles, Alta California, Mexico at the age of 56, and was buried at Mission San Gabriel on April 15, 1822.
