William Wallace Queen and Mary Kiziah Coles, daughter of Benjamin Lippincott Coles and Sophia Gergensen, obtained a marriage license on 8 March 1890 in St. Martin Parish, LA. They were married four days later, on 12 March 1890, in Breaux Bridge. Witnesses to marriage were: S. H. Evans and Wm. H. Mills. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Thos. F. Webb of the M. E.
