William Roy Quarman was born in 1892 in Dubbo, New South Wales (Australia). He was the third son of Joseph Quarman and Louise Smith. [1] The family soon after moved to Condobolin, then to Peak Hill and Narromine. William was eight years of age when the Colony of New South Wales became a State at the time of the federation of the British Colonies into the Commonwealth of Australia.
He passed away in 1956 in Nyngan, New South Wales. [2]
