Thanks for checking in on me and for seeing how I am getting along.
I am a bit slow in touring the site and projects; however, I am interested in the German and English projects as my family traces their origins back to Germany prior to their emigration to Dorset, England in the 16th century. I have been dabbling in genealogy since 1985.

There is a lot to see on here, and it can take time to see everything, even now after nearly 4 years here I am finding pages that I had not seen before. I am a member of the England Project, and it is a great project, if you do join it, I would recommend you taking the "Orphan Trail", it helped me improve my profiles immensely. Dorset is a bit further north than where I am.
