Hi Julie! I have just tidied up the Gedcom of cousins-124 and then proposed a merge of cousins-228 into cousins-124 (David Cousins). I notice that all of David's siblings appear twice and so need merging. I'll first tidy up the profiles to remove Gedcom trash then propose merges. Do feel free to dive in and tackle any of the siblings yourself if you want, if not then leave to me but just approve when the request arrives. Many thanks. Corina

Your surname (Preston) reminded me that my cousin Marie White was married to a Gary Preston. The Willam White in my tree is White-41366.

Julie, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.

It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

Hi Julie, some of your Gloucestershire, England profiles came up as an error because an autofill somewhere along the line interpreted Glos as a place in France. I've left a comment with some sources on https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Screen-42 but then realise that her parents have the same 'problem' I can't fix because they have a 'green' privacy level

Ive just added Churches-67 NEW profile, yours came up , but as you are locked I couldnt see if tree attached and no info on him , so maybe we can merge if you let me see your tree first please

I did not initiate any of these initial merges. They have all been laying stagnant for 5 years. All I am doing is updating the merges so someone else can clean them up. Apparently it's working. I have been told not to reject any merges. Now you are telling me not to update merges. Anything else I'm not supposed to do to clean up 5 year old data?

Mann-1701 and Mann-4446 appear to represent the same person because:

It is a lower Andrew Mann that can be merged because of no other info on it.
