We've missed you. Your Ancestors have missed you. Are you still interested in participating on WikiTree? Please let me know what your intentions are. We would love to see you active again but understand if you are no longer interested.

Let me explain what will happen if you no longer wish to continue on WikiTree, all of your living profiles will be deleted for privacy reasons, all profiles meeting the 150/200 year rule will be opened up and orphaned so others may adopt them and your personal profile will be deleted. I understand how tough that will be after all the work you have put into building profiles. Is there someone you can transfer your profiles to? If yes, please contact me and I will send you information on how to do that.

Thank you for all of your past contributions and hopefully future contributions.

Hi Karen

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

You may want to add some tags on your page indicating a family name for one tag and a specific location like Oklahoma, for another tag and then add other surnames or locations as tags as desired. That way you will be connected to others with the same interest.

Click to http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following to add or remove tags. Be sure to add comments explaining why you're following the tags. Those appear on your profile too.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top right, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

We also have Mentors to help too.

Welcome! Michael F. Harris

Hi,

I saw that you uploaded a GEDCOM file, and wanted to let you know that the help pages give lots of information about the process we use to help reduce and prevent duplicate profiles. I recommend starting with 'Before you import a GEDCOM' (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Before_importing_a_GEDCOM) Another very helpful link, a step-by-step process, which includes screen-shots is (http://www.geneamusings.com/2013/12/adding-early-seaver-generations-to.html) Best of luck!
