Biography

Luis was born about 1810, based upon the age of his son, Jose Dolores,^[1] calculated from his death certificate found in Irapuato, Guanajuato, México.

The record shows Jose Dolores was 70 at the time of his death on 7 Feb 1908, which would give him a birth year of about 1838. We could then estimate that his father, Luis, would have been born sometimes around 1810 (give or take a decade.)

Research Notes:

There is a record of a Jose Luis (Mestizo), christened 3 Jul 1808 at Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, son of Jose Calixto Rodriguez and Anna Josefa Prado. Padrinos were Jose Ygnacio Posadas and Maria Feliciana Masos.^[2]
