Biography
Alonzo was born in 1800.
Alonzo Potter married Sarah Benedict. They lived in Philadelphia. Alonzo Potter was the third bishop of the Diocese of Pennsylvania in the Episcopal Church.[1][2]

He died of "Panama (Yellow) fever" July 4, 1865, on board a ship in the harbor at San Francisco, California, USA. He was later buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery.[3][4]
