Deceased Name: Grace Tippett

FORT WORTH - Grace Tippett, a retired elementary school teacher, died Friday in a Fort Worth hospital. She was 81.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Westcliff United Methodist Church, where she was a member.

Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tippett was born in Sedalia, Mo., and had lived in Fort Worth since 1973. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Sul Ross University in Alpine and was a volunteer at Harris Methodist Fort Worth for 10 years.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the Community Hospice of Saint Joseph Hospital.

Survivors: Husband, John M. Tippett of Fort Worth; son, Living. Tippett of Ponca City, Okla.; daughter, Living Comolli of Anchorage, Alaska; and two sisters, Ruth Van Tine of Fort Worth and Mary Kilchenstein of Midlothian.
