Biography

Mary Ann Dorothy Porch aka Mary A. D. Porch was born in about 1834, Greensville County, Virginia. Her father was James Porch III 1781-1832 and mother Lucy Ingram . She is documented in her husband´s household on the Greensville Co VA 1850 census as M A Taylor age 17. In the Greensville Co Va 1860 Census she is named as Mary A Taylor age 25. She is a widow age 46 in the Greensville Co VA 1880 census. No death certificate has been located. However, the death certificate of her son John R Taylor III 1865-1929 (see image) lists his father as John R Taylor Jr of Greensville Co VA and mother as Mary Ann Parch or Porch. ... She passed away sometime after 1880 when she is last in a Census .
