Biography

William Floyd “Billy” Poole was born April 2, 1933 the son of Clinton and Maude (Howard) Poole. ^[1]

He served as a Private in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, with the Headquarters and Service Companies of the 40th Tank Battalion. ^[2]

William married Beverly Jean Gulini on January 17, 1953 in Cortland, New York. They settled in Homer, New York, where William was a Locksmith for more than 20 years. ^[3] Beverly was born November 3, 1934 in Truxton, Cortland County, New York. She was daughter of Paul R. Gulini and Rena O. Burdick Gulini. ^[4] She died January 6, 1998 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Cortland, Cortland County, New York. ^{[5] [6] [7]}
