Biography

Donato Pomo, known as Leoluca Cascio, of unknown parents, is born in Castellammare del Golfo (castri ad mare apud gulphum) and a resident of Corleone from childhood.

Donato marries at least twice, first to Filomena Tumulto, born of unknown parents in Palermo, and a resident of Corleone, on 27 September 1903. This record gives his town of birth.^[1]

A year later, Donato marries Salvatrice Cuccia, daughter of Leoluca Cuccia and Biagia Mannina, on 20 November 1904. This record does not mention Donato's alias, and says he is from Castrobono.^[2]
