Isidoor Polk died as a result of persecution during the Holocaust.
Isidoor Polk was born at Amsterdam on 15 April 1908.[1] He was the son of Nico Polk and Mietje Cats.
During World War II he was sent to Westerbork camp in transit to an unknown location.[1] His mother and siblings were murdered at Auschwitz and Sobibór.
He survived the war but died at Zwolle on 6 February 1945, soon after the liberation of Poland.[1] He was buried in Zwolle Kranenburg Begraafplaats (grave has since been cleared).[2]
