Biography
Francois Poirier was born in 1722. He was the son of Michel Poirier and Marie Madeleine Bourgeois. He was baptized 2 Aug 1722 at Beaubassin. His godparents were Nicolas Gauthier and Marie Bourk. [1][2]
He married Genevieve Murat, daughter of Jean Jacques Murat and Anne Bourgeois 18 Oct 1746 at Beaubassin, in the presence of Charles Heon and Jean Etienne Argentiere. There was a dispensation for 4-4 consanguinity.[3][4][5]
