Antoine Poineau was born and baptized on 9 June 1716 in La Prairie, son of Jean Poineau and Barbe Boursier[1]
Marie Josephe Primeau, daughter of Claude Primeau and Angélique Babeu, married Antoine Poineau, son of deceased Jean Poineau and Barbe Boursier, on 7 Apr 1739 in Châteauguay[2]

Antoine was a voyageur, contracted in 1742 to go to Fort de La Reine.

Antoine Poineau died at some time before his son Antoine's marriage on 25 Jan 1773 in Châteauguay[5]. He was present at the baptism of his last known child in June 1763.[6]
