Edward Plank lived in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand.

Edward McNab Plank was born 12 April 1855 ^[1] in Nelson. ^[2] He was the son of John Plank and Grace McNabb. ^{[2] [3]}

He came to Christchurch in 1866 and his family took over the Brittania Hotel. ^[2]

In 1878 he married Eleanor Boyd. ^[4]

Electoral Rolls ^[6] In the 1890's he was a blacksmith. In the 1920's he was a gardener.
