With your Busby-Hicks-Morrison interests, I think you may be of a branch of my Busby lineage, of which, the evidence does not show a relationship to James Busby of the Treaty of Waitangi fame (multiple people named James Busby, have existed).
I am interested in your ancestry being published - parents ->grandparents->great-grandparents->great-greatgrandparents, in connection with your profile. I have not been able to go back beyond my great-great-grandfather of my Busby lineage.
With your genealogical DNA tests, I am interested in the prospect (if you decide to get one) of you getting a FamilyTreeDNA Family Finder Test. This is best done, when they have a discount offer - I expect the next one will be for Mothers Day. A Busby name genealogy DNA Group Project exists at FamilyTreeDNA.

Blasto! I wanted to be famous! I really thought that Louisa's Dad was the nephew of James Busby. My mothers cousin had done a lot of work on the family tree and I thought I had found something that made the link. I will have to dig that out again.
I have done an Ancestry DNA then uploaded to My Heritage of which the ethnicities changed quite a bit - who is accurate? How do I upload the data here?
I am a novice researcher who likes to dabble in family history in my spare time.
Awesome, I will check out the web page as mentioned above.
Have a great Easter!

Having just found and subscribed and posted to the applicable mailing list, in the last couple of days, I thought you might like to view the web page at https://groups.io/g/genealogy-dna/topic/comparing_ancestrydna_and/77260855?p=,,,20,0,0,0::recentpostdate/sticky,,,20,2,0,77260855,previd%3D1650989768419998205,nextid%3D1601668711167897450&previd=1650989768419998205&nextid=1601668711167897450 and read all of the messages on the web page, to see what is said about variations in ethnicities from genealogical DNA testing.
I have posted this here, in case others with a similar query about ethnicities, find this.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Our Adoption Angels group has set up this page on Historic Adoptions. Hopefully, this will help you find out about your daughter's grandmother.
Good luck with your search, I hope you are successful.
