Hi, LuAnn. I notice that you've changed the spelling of several LNABs for German people from Kiefer to Keifer, and your notices indicate that Kiefer was a misspelling. That's the opposite of my impression regarding the German spelling, and the sources cited in the texts of those profiles indicate that the spelling was Kiefer. I'm curious to know how you reached the conclusion that the original spelling (in Germany) was Keifer.

LuAnn,

Thanks for doing the merge. I'll try to do some cleanup before too long. I have a couple of things I'm finishing up, hopefully before the end of the year.

Hi.

I see we are rubbing elbows in the Green line. You are manager of Hezekiah and Rebecca and I manage John and just adopted orphaned Thomas and Allen, Regnal's children. Maybe we can compare notes and such. This morning I updated John and Allen's bio/sources and may get to Thomas this afternoon, so you can review their profiles and let me know what you think. Thanks

You asked abt. a Mahala/Mariah Green. They were sisters. of George and Diadema Green, b in what is now Licking Co. Ohio. Mahala was the first white child born there.

I didn't have the Knoderer-Piper connection. I wish I had when I was talking to Harriet. You and I are blood relatives in the Knoderer line, our common relative being Charles Frederick Knoderer, my line going down through his son Augustus Knoderer.
