DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Michel by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Michel:

Hi Michel,

Thanks for having a Big Heart and adopting Orphan Profiles. You will want to read this After adopting orphans FAQ to understand what to do next and it explains the special attention those profiles need. You may also want to go through the new member help on How to manage your Watchlist.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

David

Thanks Dave

Its not my first rodeo, I first got the big heart badge almost exactly a year ago, although I don't think anyone commented after I adopted all those profiles the last time.

Honestly surprised none of the profiles I adopted were in need of being merged. Only 3 need sources turns out.

Cheers ☕ ☕

Sorry, I guess I haven't been active at all in pretty much any groups. Always getting sidetracked and doing my own thing... I would like to try getting into it but honestly atm I have lots going on. If you want to remove me I guess that's ok. Sorry again.

Hi Michel,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Welcome to WikiTree M,

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
