Biography
Toussaint was born in Rivière-du-Loup on 4 April 1786, son of Jean Baptiste Picote and Helene Desjarlais. He was baptized the same day at the Catholic parish of Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup. [1]
He married Euphrosine Gelinas dit Lacourse on 12 October 1813 at the Catholic parish of Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche. [2]
