Steptoe Pickett[1] was born on June 22, 1790, in Fauquier, Virginia,the child of Martin Pickett and Ann Blackwell. He married Sarah Orrick Chilton on January 10, 1813[2], in Westmoreland, Virginia. He died on December 16, 1843, in Morgan, Alabama.
