Robert was noted as a patient at Weston State Hospital in the 1920 census. He was transferred to Spencer State Hospital before the 1930 census where he died in 1931.
Research Notes
There is conflicting information about Robert's parents. Find A Grave lists his mother as Eva McCoy, however Family Search lists his mother as Mary Frances Rowe. At this time no documents have been located to confirm his mother nor his father, reported to be Franklin Phillips (note DNA evidence has confirmed Robert as related to Franklin Phillips).
