The Andrews families have been my main focus lately, my interest stems from my mother's paternal line. Who have recently changed from Andrews to Andries, sometime between 1820 and 1855.
The Andrus name contains multiple branches from the Andrews lines, not only is this important to me, alot of Andrews have been recorded as Andrus and vis versa.
Currently I am working on Sacred Heart Cemetery, "soon" I'll have every cemetery in the Burlington Iowa area done, then more!

Project Coordinator for Membership
Global Cemeteries Project
Weve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.
Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.
Please let me know if youd like to stay on in the new project, if youd like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) youd like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the projects Google Group.
Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As I always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
Davian: You posted this message on my page: Hello Howard, I just wanted to let you know you can use the Suffix entry to put your number markings. For example on profiles Baucom-3 and Baucom-2 you have "(#)" listed as a prefix, we would prefer you to remove the parenthesis and place the numbered marker at the end of the name. So Baucom-3 would display "Donald Louis Baucom II" rather than "(II) Donald Louis Baucom"
Davian: I don't know how to get to Baucom-2 or Baucom-3 and you didn't put a hyperlink for me to get to those pages. How can I fix the problem you are telling me about?

Thanks for your comment about the "German Roots" template.
I'm following this guideline:
Copy and paste the following template on profiles that have German ancestry.Project:German_Roots
Personally, I see the value of the template in the individual profile to indicate German ancestry, which might not be evident based on surname(s). Carrying forward in descendant lines from the original emigrant is an easy way to raise awareness of the ancestor's origins, especially in deep lineages.
Aggregating many profiles under a single category, such as German Roots also has value when one might be looking for neighbors, siblings, et cetera within the collection.
Thanks for the open profiles so others can add tidbits like this. I'd suggest adding to all descendants as appropriate.
Hello, Edward Cooley had Several children by two different wife's. He is buried in Jagger's cemetery in Danville Illinois. His first wife was Priscilla Goes and his second wife was Rachel Denny. You should really check out Mike Cooley's web site. Good to hear from you and keep n touch. There is a whole lot of information on our Cooley family at ancestry , family search and rootsweb . It is a very large family spread out primarily in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois Texas, Missouri, Oregon and California. I have been in contact with members of our extended Cooley family in Missouri, California and Oregon. They were nice enough to even send me pictures of some of their early ancestors. They also grew up with Kit Carson in Kentucky.
I see that our common ancestor is Edward Cooley. Have you ever checked out More Cooley's web site?. It is fascinating. Make is a defendant of David Cooley another brother of John H. And Martha M. Cooley . You should check it out. I believe Mike lives in California. It has been a few years since I have talked to him.
Hello Davina How have you determined that we are related, could you tell me the connection between our families. I am always excited about meeting new relatives. Thank you, tom alexander
