Having these open leads to changes that have no basis in fact. My wife's 2nd Gt Grandfather was Alexander Rummans Applegate, son of Solomon, grandson of Benjamin. Benjamin's will in Will Book F in Lewis County KY for Sept term of 1863 says he had a 174 acre farm on Cabin Creek purchased in 1836from Jonathon Hayden. This farm was left to his wife Rebecca. He had 3 sons by Rebecca (James, John, William) all mentioned in will. He also left one dollar to each of his children by Mary Rummans. Did not name them. Will also mentions step-daughter, Elizabeth Douglas, Rebecca's by 1st marriage. I contended Benjamin was married three times. Hannah Peters in VA, Mary Rummans and Rebecca in Ky. This should be cleared up before any further changes be made in this tree.
