Note

In 1900 he is single and living in Joplin City, Jasper, Missouri; he is a laundryman.

In 1910 he lived in Joplin City, Jasper Co, Missouri with his wife, Catherine and step-son, Adolph Albers, age 12. Max was a saloon bartender.

In 1917-18 he is a self-employed grocer in Joplin, Missouri. The home address is 1918 Moffet. He is tall, has brown hair and brown eyes on his WW I Draft Registration Card.

In 1920 he and Catherine still lived in Joplin City, Missouri and Max was a gold mine operator. Adolph is no longer part of their family.

In 1923 they lived in Joplin, Missouri.

In 1930 Catherine and Max lived in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma. Max was a bookkeeper.

In 1940 he and Catherine are living in Lincoln, Nebraska with his sister, Helene. He is a bartender.

He is buried in Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska, plot Sec-27 Lot-151 Sp-7.
