After transcribing this document I realize Grandad was in Canada for 65 years so he may have left PEI when he was @ 16. I need to find a Passenger list. My assumption is he boarded a ship with Joseph Peters and Madeline Duffy his parents. Stephen Peters Worked at Dominion Coal Company for 48 years. His last day of work was in 1951 as a retired Mechanic.
The informant who signed this document was My aunt Helen "Mary Peters", daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Peters signed as Mrs William Tanner.

Stephen died on 15 Feb 1965 in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, aged 81. He was buried in Saint Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Glace Bay, Cape Breton County, Nova Scotia.

Mom and I had too do the planning of uncle Joes funeral if you look at the stone the engraving is correct. Mom wanted her parents to be memorialized within their son’s Memorial. Inscribed as PTE Joseph Peters
