My earliest confirmed direct ancestor. Walter was born about 1690 and died in 1756. Family Record Sources –(Perrot(t) Family in Wales Archive) He had 7 children with Ann in Laugharne and was described as a 'Mariner' in son David's Admons in 1745.

His second son Walter (b 1717) was also a mariner and died in 1742 aboard HM ship of war 'The Pembroke.'

In the absence (to date) of a birth record or will reference, the current conjectured relationship of Walter as the son of John Perrott is based, in addition to consistent dates and naming patterns, on the following evidence:
1: In 1827 Walter Perrott wrote a letter stating that his grandfather's brother was James Perrott, a Quaker of Laugharne, which was confirmed at the time by the Society of Friends in Carmarthenshire.
