Hi Tim,

Oh no! Did you miss the Wales Project Semi-Annual Check-In posted below? Did I miss your response?

I hope all is well with you.

Please take a minute to post a reply to confirm you have contributed in the last 6 months and wish to remain an active member.

No response within the next 2 weeks will be considered a request to remove your Wales Project Badge.

If that happens, you would be welcome to rejoin the project in the future. At such time, review the Membership Requirements on the Wales Project page and then click on the G2G Welcome Post link.

Hi Tim,

Wales Project Semi-Annual Check-In

Thank you for being a member of the Wales Project. You may recall membership requires at least one contribution to project goals during each 6-month period. A contribution includes creation of and modification to Wales related profiles.

Have you been able to contribute?

To all our active members, thank you for your work.

Please consider these questions:

- Do you desire to stay on your current project team(s)?

- Which teams are you most active in?

- Are there other teams you would like to join or become more active in?

- Also, do you have any feedback on what the project is doing well and anything we could do better in the future?

Please respond to this message by posting a reply in Comments below or sending me a private message. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Hi Tim,

I wrote to you recently as part of the England Project's six-monthly check-in with our project members. I haven't heard back from you. I hope you are well.

If you could please drop me a quick note to confirm whether you are still interested in the project and wish to remain an active member, that would be very helpful.

If we do not hear from you within the next 2 weeks, we will assume you are no longer active in the England Project and remove you from our list of project members. You would be most welcome to re-apply to join the project at a later time by signing-up on the project’s G2G welcome post.

Many thanks!

I would to thank you for all your contributions towards the goals of the England Project during the past six months. We've achieved a huge amount during this period and we couldn't have done it without you and our other project members.

As the England Project Leaders, we are completing our six monthly check-in with all project members.

Hi Tim,

The United Kingdom Project has not been active since 2018 and we are now completely closing it down. We are removing all UK project badges. If you still have an interest in the UK and have not already joined another project, then you will need to join the England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales Project by answering one or more of their G2G posts. If your interest is in the British Isles and British Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories, then please contact me directly.

Regards Joan

Hi Tim,

I left a message on your profile a week ago, checking in with you and seeing whether or not you’d like to continue in the Wales Project, and in your current team(s). I’ve not yet heard back from you, and I hope you are ok. If I don’t hear from you by this time next week, I’ll assume you’ve moved on to other things and will go ahead and remove you from the project for now but you would be most welcome to rejoin at any time.

Best wishes,

Olivia :-)

Hi Tim,

Thank you so much for all your contributions to WikiTree in the last six months, and especially to the Wales Project. We're particularly grateful for all you have done in Data Doctors and totally under you needing to step down as leader there. It’s been wonderful to have you as part of the team as we work together to increase the quality and quantity of Welsh Profiles and I look forward to working with you as and when you can as a team member.

I just have you down as being on the Data Doctors Team. Is this right? How are things going? Do you have any questions? What can we do to support you? Would you like to change any of your teams? Do you want to continue in the Wales Project moving forwards?

I look forward to hearing back from you with all the above. Feel free to drop in on Discord anytime.

Thanks once again,

Olivia, Project Coordinator for Wales :-)

Hi Tim,

It's that time of the year again: check-in time! As England Project Leaders, we like to check in with you every six months or so to see how things are progressing. Back in May, we didn't ask for a response due to the rapid emergence of Covid-19 because we understood that people's lives were changing rapidly. While we are still living in a Covid world, we do need to hear back from you this time around

First of all, how are you doing? What are you currently working on? Are you happy with the team(s) you're in, or would you like to change things up?

Secondly, we're looking for some feedback on the Google Group and our Discord server. Do you use either or both of these? If you don't use either, why not? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve participation and collaboration, either generally or for you personally?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Lizzie, Amy, Joan

England Project Leaders

Tim, thanks for your correction on birth date of John David b 1763.

Are you related or just observant?

Hi Scott,

Just observant - I am a Data Doctor mainly focusing on the suggestions listed for Wales as part of the Wales Project.

If you have any questions about the change I made or about the Suggestions Lists then please come back to me - I would be happy to help.

Hi Tim

Thank you for participating in the Data Doctor weekly Challenge - for Orphan profiles. Every suggestion you cleared made our Tree that much better. The Data Doctor Team and the WikiTree community appreciates the work you are doing. Look forward to seeing join us for the next challenge.

Hi Tim,

Your England Leaders are completing the six monthly check in with all team members. Thank you for all your work on English Profiles. I’m not sure if you rejoined the Trail after the last check in, please could you let me know if anyone has been in touch.

These are unprecedented and difficult times, and we understand as Project Leaders that your situation may have changed somewhat in the last few months. What we are all able to/ wish to contribute on Wikitree has changed. Please let me know how you are and if you wish to continue with the Trail and the England Project at this time.

Thank you again on behalf of all the Project Leaders for everything you do.

Lizzie

Hi Lizzie,

Thanks for getting in contact. Although I am still lost on the trial (nobody has been in touch since the last check in) I have been working to improve the details on my English family and have also been working to clear suggestions in England via the Data Doctors project. I would like to keep connected with the England project and indeed, if possible, finally finish the trial (I will need a rescue team to find me and get me back on track!).

Hope that you are keeping well.

Thanks and kind regards, Tim

Hi Tim,

As you will have seen, we have been doing some restructuring in the Wales Project and are now organising ourselves into different teams. Please have a look at the new project pages, and let me know which team(s) you would like to be in.

Please can you also send me your e-mail address? I can then make sure you are introduced to your Team Leaders, are in the Google Group, and receive an invitation to join our Discord server.

Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the Wales Project that you respond to these check-ins.

Many thanks,

Susie, Wales Project Co-Leader

Hi Tim,

The England Project Leaders check-in with the members every six months to see how people are getting on. How are you doing? I notice you've dropped out of the Orphan Trail. Is there a particular reason for this? I'd love to have your feedback.

One requirement for membership in the project is that you contribute to a team at least once every six months. Are you willing to rejoin the Trail or would you prefer to leave the project for now and focus on other things? If you do the latter you'd be most welcome to rejoin later on.

Please respond to me via e-mail.

Many thanks,

Susie, England Project Leader :-)

Hi Tim,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Tim

On behalf of the England Project Leaders we're carrying out a check-in to see how all the members are doing and taking the opportunity to thank you for all your hard work over the past six months. We have been so impressed with the way everyone has rallied together and gone the extra mile to make this one of the most dedicated, productive and friendly communities on WikiTree. What are you enjoying most about being in the project? What would you like to see improved or changed? Would you like to continue in the project moving forwards?

We're looking forward to hearing back from you,

Hi Tim,

Now it’s 2019 we are just following up with people who have gone a little quiet on the Trail! I see you are already 2/3 of the way through and was hoping you would want to complete the trail and become a full fledged member of the England Project?

Please let me know your thoughts, hopefully you want to complete the trail, and we can get you going on some 1500-1700 profiles.

I look forward to hearing back from you, could you let me know either way?

Kind Regards,

Lizzie, Trailblazer, England Orphan Team.

Hi Tim,

It's been a year since the England Project was re-ignited. Thank you for being part of this exciting journey!

We really appreciate all your contributions and hard work :)

We would love some feedback from you please. :)

Are you happy contributing with the team you are on, or would you like a change, or even add to another team?

If you are not already on a team, which one would you like to be on?

If you are not sure what is available, just ask, we are here to help :)

Are you still happy contributing to the England Project?

Please PM me through my profile and let me know how you are doing :)

Thank you :)
