Biography

When Francesca Maria Perrino was born on July 5, 1930, in Corleone, Sicilia, Italy, at Piazza Nasce No. 25,^[1]her father, Antonino, was 42 and her mother, Caterina, was 35.

Francesca's brother, Vincenzo, is named in connection with their uncle Angelo di Carlo's I.S.E.P., a money laundering organization used by the Mafia organizations of Palermo and Corleone.^[2]

She married Vincent Angelo Di Carlo on June 30, 1958, in Palermo, Sicilia, Italy. ^[3]They had three children during their marriage. She died on June 17, 2011, in Vienna, Virginia, at the age of 80, and was buried in Arlington, Virginia.

Francesca was Vincent's first cousin, daughter of Antonino Perrino and Caterina Di Carlo, Vincent's father's sibling. She gained a Masters Degree in Child Psychology at the University of Palermo. She taught grade school, grades 1-5 all in the same classroom at an orphanage in Corleone. Francesca suffered from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (excessive pressure on the brain caused by too much cranial fluid) during the last 5 years of her life. She passed away on 17 June 2011 and was interred at Arlington National Cemetary on 13 September 2011.
