In 1910, he and his family were living in New Orleans, and he was the 9th of the ten children in the household.[1]
When he was 18 years old, he registered for the World War I draft. He was working as a baker in New Orleans and gave his mother's name as his next of kin. He was described as being tall and of medium build, with brown eyes and light hair.[2]
Leon died on 1 Jul 1964 in New Orleans, Louisiana.[3][4]
