Updated 11/12/2023: Per Findagrave: When William PERRAULT was born in 1795 in USA, his father, Jean-Baptiste, was 32 and his mother, Marie-Marguerite, was 24. He married Agathe CADOTTE on 20 January 1827 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. They had four children in 10 years. He died on 22 October 1875 in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. "About Francois Perreault, his father William, was born on 1800 in Michigan, but baptized on 12 Oct 1803, in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada, as Michel-Guillaume, was son of Jean Baptiste Perreault and Marie Harris (who were married on 23 August 1805 in Batiscan, Quebec). It was a second marriage.

Marie Harris was half-breed.

Jean Baptiste was born on 10 March 1761 in Trois-Rivieres, baptized as Jean Baptiste Louis, married at first to a native woman around 1792 probably in Michigan. He was a fur trader.

Also, he was a teacher in Saint-Francois-du-Lac, between 1807 and 1816, he returned back to Sault-Sainte-Marie (Michigan), on 1816.

He was son of Jean Baptiste Perreault and Marie Lemaitre, who were married on 12 Sept 1757 in Trois-Rivieres.
