Biography
Herbert was born in 1896. He was registered at birth as Herbert Peet.[1] He was baptised on 19th February 1899 in St Peter, Ruddington, Nottinghamshire as the son of Samuel Burman and Violet Peet.[2]
Between 1901 and 1911 he lived with his parents in Eckington, Derbyshire, England.[3][4]
He passed away in 1916. He was killed in action serving with the 1st/7th Battalion of the Sherwood Foresters.[5]
