1. Yes I would like to continue as a PGM member 3. This summer I should be able to be more active
Bill
This is the time for the annual 2024 check in with members of the Military and War Project. Have you been active during the last six months in the Military and War Project? Do you want to remain working with this project? Note that it is a requirement to respond to the Military and War Project Check-ins. Please respond to this message by clicking the reply button below this message, to post your answer. I look forward to hearing from you..
Many thanks,
Mary, Project Coordinator, Military & War
I must admit I have not been very productive. I made extensive improvements to profiles of Col. William Page Revolutionary War doctor/engineer and his father John Page who worked to support the war effort in Connecticut. I also worked on John Forbes Scottish survivor of the battle of New Orleans 1814 who used to his pension to pay for his family's relocation to Nova Scotia after all his in-laws were "removed" from the Scottish Highlands. None of them have proper war record sources, so I did not add stickers or categories. I do watch over many 1776 profiles that I manage and thank you and others for the improvements to the stickers. I will continue to manage my many 1776 profiles and add Military war stickers when I find sufficient information.
Mary
Many thanks,
Mary~ Project Coordinator, Military and War Project
Work (School) has been busy these last six months, so I have made few improvements to the Military War profiles, but I plan to do a fair amount this summer.
Mary
We're doing our semi-annual check-in to ask whether you have made contributions to the project in the last six months?
Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the 1776 Project that you respond to this check-in. Please post your response as a reply to this message on your page, for convenience of record keeping.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Betty -- 1776 Project Leader
Thanks for contributing to Puritan Great Migration profiles over the last six months. Every little bit helps, so please keep those edits coming!
Like all WikiTree projects we check in with team members twice per year and it's that time again. Please respond within the next two weeks to let me know:
If you'd like to tell me about a particular project or family you're working on, I'd love to hear about that as well.
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks!

Brad
I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.
If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Thanks for your research on Reynold/Renold Bush in Cambridge. For the son, with the deed that Anderston says was in January 1641/2? were you able to find any further documentation of it? If it was in January, he will be part of the PGM project. Sharon
The land deed is for January 1642 by our calendar. Savage places Reynold Jr(the son) in Cambridge in 1641. Anderson does not have any Bush's in his GMD. But, The Messing town blog(that I more or less based the bio of Reynold Sr on) suggests that Reynold Jr emigrated 1631. There could even be another generation, Reynold Jr would be near 50 at emigration and might be the father of John Bush of Maine and not his brother. (With so few good sources the imagination runs wild.) So, because there are so many poorly sourced online Genealogies for these people, having Reynold's Jr protected by PGM would give us a chance to find a better researched version of the genealogy
We are distant Cousins through Thomas Andrews. Would love to find the connections as I am connected to several Connecticut Ancestors as well.
No, it needn't be a google email address. Any email address will work but you probably want to use the one you use for WikiTree.
Thanks!
Deb ~ Volunteer Coordinator
Thank you so much for responding to our check-in. We are delighted that you wish to continue contributing to the Military and War Project. Below is a quick checklist for active members. The project leaders would like you to make sure you have done the following:
1) Checked the Project Page for ways to contribute.
2) Added MILITARY_AND_WAR to the tags you follow.
3) PMed the project leaders with your email address to be added to the Google Group
4) Bookmarked the Activity Feed to monitor the project watchlist.
Thank you!

On behalf of the Military and War Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members.
First, we want to thank you for your past participation in the Military and War Project. We appreciate your desire to honor your ancestors for their service to their countries, or even for your own service, wherever in the world. We hope that your membership has enhanced your WikiTree experience.
Please let me know if you are still active. and if so, in which ways you are currently contributing to the main project or a sub-project.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Deb ~ Volunteer Coordinator
Thanks for having a Big Heart and adopting Orphan Profiles. You will want to read this After adopting orphans to understand what to do next.
David
Thanks for taking the pre-1700 Quiz and congratulations on earning the badge! Natalie, Pre-1700 Greeter
I have also awarded you the Military and War project badge as it is the umbrella project for all the wars.
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the projects and the guidelines we have in place.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

How is it going so far? Was the first page of the How-Tos helpful or did it leave you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
Mary~ WikiGreeter
PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when you click the link, you can find a working version in the public comments on your profile.
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
