James was born in 1923. He was married to a Virginia, then divorced in 1947.[1] He married his second wife, Doris Elizabeth Hobby, on 19 May 1947 in Orange County, Florida.[2] When he passed away in 1977, he was buried in the Garden of the Last Supper, Tallahassee Memory Gardens, Tallahassee, Florida. His grave is next to his second wife's grave.[3] His tombstone is inscribed: LT JG US Navy World War II.
