Farmer Drops Dead While At His Work Robert Edward Lee Paugh, 75, dropped dead while at work in his barn on Monday, February 21, at his farm in Bethlehem community. Dr. E. I. Bumgartner, county medical examiner, declared death had been the result of a heart attack. The deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Paugh, and was born near Deer Park, in the Bethlehem community on December 12, 1868. His entire life was spent in this county. He was converted and joined the United Brethren church 48 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rose A. Paugh; two daughters, Mrs. John W. Rowan, Mt. Lake Park; Mrs. Osborne S. Beckman, Oakland; one sister, Mrs. Charles E. Tasker, Deer Park; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Oscar Simpson, Deer Park, preceded him in death in August, 1941. Funeral services were conducted from the Loch Lynn Untied Brethren church on Wednesday, February 23, with interment in the Tasker cemetery. Hand dated 7-24-44)
