Sarah Parsons was born about 1838 in Henbury, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom. Her parents were James Parson & Mary Ann Rendell.^[1]

In the 1841 census Sarah (age 3) was living with her parents & 4 siblings in Lawrence Weston, Henbury, Gloucestershire, England.^[2]

In the 1851 census Sarah (age 13) was the daughter of Mary Parsons in Henbury, Gloucestershire, England. She was a scholar.^[3]

Sarah married Issac Canter Price (born about 1838 in Bristol, England) on September 6, 1858 in Holy Trinity Church in Westbury-on-Trym, Gloucestershire.^[4] Their known children were:

In the 1861 census Leah (age 23) was the wife of Isaac Price in Roath, Glamorgan, Wales. Her husband was a Stone Mason. Her name was recorded as "Leah Pain", for an unknown reason. But her husband's occupation and the exact age of their son Joseph (7 mo) matches, along with the relationship with her husband's brother John.^[13]

In the 1871 census Sarah (age 33) was the wife of Isaac Price in Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester, Lancashire, England. Her husband was a Stonemason.^[14]

Sarah arrived on 5 February 1877 aboard the ship "La Hogue" through the assisted immigrant program. She travelled with Isaac (38, stone cutter), Sarah (38), Joseph (17), James (13), Henry (10), Mary A (8), Sarah (5), Fred (2). ^[15] They had two more children in Australia, Albert & Frank.

Sarah died on April 6, 1907 in Leichhardt, New South Wales, Australia.^[1] She was buried at Rookwood Cemetery.^[16]
