Augustus Parsons lived in Appalachia, in New York.

Augustus was born in Connecticut in about 1782. He passed away in 1853.

In 1850, Augustus and Lydia were living in the town of Bainbridge in Chenango County, New York, where Augustus and their son, John (Jonathan?) had their farms.^[1] Also in their household were Eliza Parsons (est. age 23) and Tabitha Parsons (est. age 22), one of whom may have been the wife of John (or Jonathan), as well as Orlando Baird (est. age 16), who was recorded as a farmer and may have been a farm laborer, living with them.

Augustus Parsons died on 8 Mar 1853, in Bainbridge, Chenango County, New York, where he was buried in the Saint Peters Churchyard cemetery.^[2]
