Biography

Viola was born about 1870 in New Jersey. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}

On 1 June 1880 she (age 10) was living in the Village of Parkertown in Middletown 2nd District with father William F. (36), mother (26), sisters Tilley (11) and Susan (4). ^[1]

Around 1887 she married Tunis Layton. ^[3]

In 1895 she was living in Seaside, a section of Middletown Township with Tunis, Hester S., and Cecelia. ^[2]

On 1 June 1900 she (age 28) was living in Shrewsbury Township with husband Tunis (34), and daughters Esther (9), Celia (6), and Lena (3). ^[3]

On 1 June 1905 she (age 32) was living in Highlands with Tunis (38), Hester (15), Celia (10), and Lena (9). She is a nurse. ^[4]
