Caroline was born in 1855. She was the daughter of William Pardey and Catherine Mckenzie. Caroline, was baptised on 6 August 1855 in Saint Mary of The Angels Catholic, Geelong, Victoria, Australia.[1] Caroline's marriage to William Murray was registered in 1881 in Victoria, Australia.[2] Carol married Wm Jno Earle in 1895 in Victoria.[3] Clne, child of Wm Evamy Pardey & Catherine McKenzie, died (age 81) in about 1938 in Daylesford, Victoria.[4] Carolyn died on 23 May 1938 and was buried in Brighton General Cemetery, Caulfield South, Glen Eira City, Victoria, Australia.[5]
INTERESTS. Vice-president of the Victorian Association of Creches; Vice-president, East Melbourne Branch, Australian Women’s National League. Has been Vice-president, also Hon. Secretary for a number of years, and now on Committee of the Women’s Hospital, and Delegate to the National Council of Women. Member of the Free Kindergarten Council of Victoria, also on Council of Victoria League; The Keele Street Kindergarten, Collingwood; Children’s Welfare Society and the Victorian Baby Health Centres.

EARLE-MURRAY. The wedding of Mr. William John Earle, manager of the Bank of New South Wales, Flinders-street, and Mrs. Murray, widow of the late Mr. William Murray, wool merchant, of Melbourne, was celebrated very quietly at the Australian Church on Thursday, May 30. The Rev. Dr. Strong officiated. The cere- mony was quite private, being witnessed only by a few intimate friends. The reception, which was much more largely attended, was held at the Oriental Hotel, Collins-street. The bride wore an afternoon dress of grey- faced cloth, with yoke of deep pink velvet faced with revers of electric blue velvet edged with blue fox fur. A French hat of grey velvet had knots of shot pink geranium. Mrs. Murray carried a bouquet of La France roses and autumn leaves tied with pink streamers, provided by Ronalds. Miss Lillien Pardey, the bride's sister, assisted as an attendant maid. She wore grey fancy crêpon trimmed with cut steel, black picture hat and pink bouquet. The bridegroom's gift was an opal ring. 'The best man was Mr. W. J. Fookes. Among those present were the bride's parents (Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Pardey), the latter wearing a gown of dark brown flecked tweed with touches of blue and handsome guipure trimming, Sir Arthur and Lady Snowden, Mrs. Snowden, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Snowden, Miss Brydon (the bride's niece), Mr. and Mrs. Robert Best, Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Langridge, Mrs. Langridge, senior, Mrs. Malcolmson, Mrs. Fred Hewlett, Dr. and Mrs. T. Hewlett, Dr. Grace Vale, Miss May Vale, Mrs. E. L. Oldfield, Miss E. Elder, Mrs. Joseph Saddler, Dr. and Mrs. Player, Dr. and Mrs. Cooke, Mr. and Mrs. F. When Mr. and Mrs. Earle left for their honeymoon Mrs. Earle wore fawn cloth with vest and revers of brown velvet and myrtle-green velvet, and hat of pale green straw speckled with brown and trimmed with green velvet bows.[7]
Mrs. C. E. Earle The death occurred on Monday at Daylesford of Mrs. Caroline Evamy Earle, widow of Mr. William John Earle, who for many years was manager of the Bank of New South Wales in Flinders street, Melbourne. Mrs. Earle was a leading charity worker, and served on the committees of the Women's Hospital and Collingwood Creche and Kindergarten. She was a member of the Alexandra Club and Austral Salon.
Mrs. Earle is survived by three sisters and two brothers. The late Captain Elliott Murray was a son by a former marriage.
The funeral will take place to-day, leaving Sleight's chapel, in St. Kilda road, at 3 p.m. for the Springvale Crematorium.[8]
