Biography
Son of Isak Palmaer and Carin Kinberg. PhD 1830. Adjunct at Karolinska 1832-1835. Contributor to Aftonbladet 1830-1835. Founder and editor of Östgötakorrespondenten 1838-1840. Moved to Linköping 1839. Publisher in Linköping 1839. Teacher at Sjögestads Lantbruksskola 1844-1847. Contributor to Griskytten and Dagbladet 1848-1853. Editor of Östgöta-gazetten 1854. Member of the Swedish parliament of 1847.
According to Odén, he was both as a person and as an author brilliant, a master of satire, cynical, lazy, and did not do well with authority. "No man in Sweden has made such sparing use of such rich natural gifts".
