Biography

Edward (Pakenham) Conolly is Notable.

Edward was born and died at Castletown near Celbridge.^[1][2] His surname at birth was Pakenham but he changed that to Conolly on the death of his great aunt Louisa Conolly in 1821, so as to inherit his great uncle Thomas Conolly's estate.^[3]

He married Catherine Jane Ponsonby at St. George in Dublin on 25th May 1819.^[1][4] They had:
