Avice Burns Paget was born on 13 July 1902, at Hamilton, New South Wales, Australia.[1] She was the daughter of Charles Daniel Paget (1881-1947) and Mary Jane Williams (1881-1915).
Avice married Cecil Minns Hawkes (1901-1979) on 19 April 1924, at Singleton, New South Wales, Australia.[2]
