Singleton Argus (NSW: 1880 - 1954), Monday 22 November 1948, page 2 DEATH OF MR CLARENCE N. PAGET The death occurred in Dangar Cottage Hospital yesterday afternoon, at the age of 58, of Mr Clarence Newton Paget, fifth son of the late Mr and Mrs William Paget. Deceased was born here, and had lived in the town all his I life. For the past thirty-odd years he worked as a baker for the late Mr C. D. Paget, and up to the death of that gentleman continued in the employ of Paget Bros. Deceased suffered a haemorrhage last Wednesday, and he was admitted to hospital on Thursday morning. In addition to his wife, the late Mr Paget is survived by four sons and three daughters. Mrs Paget was the former Miss Ida Dixon, of Rixs Creek. The surviving sons are Messrs Bill (Newcastle), Jack (Port Kembla), Jim and Cecil (Queensland), and the daughters, all married, are Alma (Queensland), Marion and Nell (Newcastle). Two brothers, Messrs Reginald (Gloucester) and Stewart (Newcastle), also survive. Three brothers, Charles, Cecil and Bill, and a sister, Alma predeceased him. The funeral was conducted this afternoon, following a service in All Saints' Church of England. Burial took place in the Whittingham cemetery.
