Joseph was born in 1837. He is the son of William Page and Sarah Sellars.

He appears in one census with his parents and siblings in 1850 at 13 years old.

He seems to have joined the Army for the Civil War and/or WWI, possibly. He could be the Joseph M. Page living in Texas in 1870.
